Can somebody please give me advice on what to say?

Yesterday a girl who I have been best friends with for a long time said that I have been acting different. And she said it was because I have been hanging out with people older than me. I said it was because they can relate to what is going on (lots of stuff at home & school) and she said "so you would rather hang out with them ne day?" and I said "i never said that." And the whole conversation itself was longer, but I won't waste your time putting it on here. I called her a little bit ago and she didn't answer and sent me a text that said "Pretty sure you can call shelby daphney or jordan." (the older girls I hang out with most.) I don't know what to say. Any advice? :/
